Vegan Versions / Celine Luggage Tote

This has been a vegan versions in the works for quite a while now.  The currently coveted Celine Luggage Tote was the arm candy of choice through most of Fall 2012 fashion week earlier this month.  It comes in a large assortment of colors, including neon, a few color blocked versions and several size options.

All in all, since I first saw it I loved the shape of the bag.  For me it would be a great bag for both work and play.  I don’t really like to switch up my day to day bag, and this bag would work perfect for me if it wasn’t leather.  I thought all hope was lost, until I saw a very similar bag on Mayte’s blog.

Upon further research, it’s  all man made materials!  You can find this version at Bijou Fashion Jewelery Store. I ordered mine today.

Granted, this bag is a blatant knockoff but it has the same style and shape as the original, plus it’s man-made so I’m happy.  What are your thoughts on knock-offs?  I’m curious if other vegans feel the same way I do about them.  I don’t care as long as the style looks the same and it’s cruelty free.
